Due to vandalism insurance wrote my car off

So if any body interested in ITG AIR filter or new sealed heavy duty clutch and plate let me know,unfortunatly because of this events I cant perform any more testing of new mods etc. (((((

Why is it that when members of this esteemed forum request proof/confirmation of certain quotes the original poster, of heretofore posted previous statements, all of a sudden has an insurance/vandalism issue out of the blue?

That's BS. 230 hp at the wheels is what vandalized the car

I don't know. I thought EXACTLY this. BUT, I wanted to give the guy the benefit of the doubt. I have previous conversations with him, asking for specifics on his modificiations. I felt the answers to be evasive.

If you read this board regularly, you get a feel for who is on board, and who is full of ....

I'm still going to give him the benefit of the doubt. But the timing does seem fishy.

I'll even add to it, the 230hp number seemed hugely PIE in the SKY. Looking back at it now, even more so.

I don't believe he ever claimed it was too the wheels, did he? IIRC, he was using a Gtech to measure HP. I don't recall him ever saying he had roller dyno numbers of 230@the rear wheel.

230 at the crank is very believable. A pulley alone, with only a very conservative 30HP gain, gives you 222HP.
