I Armor-All-ed my interior.......
............and although it looks great......I had no idea how plasticky my interior was!
What happened to MB's using an all leather interior that includes having leather over the dash and such?

I armor all my entire dashboard and door panels several times a year. Pay attention to the weather strips (rubber seals) on the doors. Armour all them after you've done the interior. They're dirty so do the weather strips last.
Careful when you armour all the steering wheel, I only do it if I plan to not use the car for some time. It gets really slippery. The vinyl back seat is perfect to be completely armour alled. Also make sure you get the rear headrests armour-alled since those are just baking when they're in the sunlight.
My car is black on black, so it's imperative that everything is well lubricated. I even armour-all the trunk seals.

a friend of mine who details cars, told me that "armor all" brand is not good for the car's interiors or exteriors because it makes it fade over time.....any knowledge if this true

Armor-All!, sorry to hear that. Will you be able to get it off? They once did that during a detail on my kid's car at the Ford dealer and it took me hours to get it off with heavy duty vinyl cleaner.

Yeah I don't think I'm going to be Armor-All-ing ever again......the slippery-ness is getting irritating....
A few years ago Meguiars had a matte finish protectant product that didn't leave that super shiny look or the super slippery surfaces; I tried looking for it, but I don't think they make it anymore.

I also say 303. I saw it mentioned on several forums here and so I went and found a bottle. Great stuff... and I don't think it smells odd at all. I use it on the dash and the vinyl and the tires. Looks more natural (to me) and lasts longer than the petroleum based protectants.
I'm a 303 convert.

Aero 303 is great stuff. That is what i use on all vinyl and rubber in my car. Use Lexol on the leather. 303 isnt harmful on the leather either. Meguiar Quick Interior for all the electronic stuff of course.

I've used the Stoner interior products and I've been very happy with them. Cleans well, not slippery, and doesn't make everything shiny. There's definitelly some great products out there.
Check out properautocare.com. I'm only using products from that site for now on. I've made one large purchase and couldn't be happier.

Armour all?
Arrgh! Crap!!!
I just did a major funk reomval from the interior.
I used the plastic cleaner sold by MBZ, Meguilars of some sort,
and Zymol Leather cleaner, and conditioner. 2 bottles.
Wiping just wasn't doing it.
I bought a brush, and scrubbed it...door sill and
the center console went from black to clean!
Same with the leather. Scrubbed it man!
wow. It's like new.
And the clothes I used, black.
My Oyster grey interior looks and feels new.
It's love all over.
Was a little slimy for a day. It's gone now.
It feels soooo nice to be in a spotless interior like a new car.
