Ok, i successfully did the front bumper a while ago. Now the back seems a bit too plain and needs to be spruced up like the front. Does anyone know if my existing rear bumper reinforcement can work with an AMG bumper or will i have to get a new reinforcement?

I got a used OEM one off of ebay from virtual junkyard. It just needed some sanding and painting. It came with the reinforcement which was a good thing because it would've taken quite a bit to modify the old one to fit the AMG bumper. If you buy one just make sure it comes with the reinforcement. Installation was not too hard. Maybe somewhere around a 6-7 on a scale of 10 when it comes to difficulty.

I just purchased a rear from the same place and he is looking for a front with headlight washers for me. Was the part in good shape and easy to prep for paint, as discribed? The rear bumper should arrive in the next few days.

Yea, pretty much. It did need quite a bit of sanding and some bondo because it had some scuffing on the bottom and the holes where someone had front plates, but all of those were visible in the picture. Overall i'd say it is what you see is what you get.

I am here in Houston, Tx where their shop is and I have to say they have a lot of parts in there. My most recent purchase from them were clear headlights for $100 for each. How much did you pay for the bumper-I am thinking of replacing mine as well. Did you do the installation yourself?

I think it came up to about $220 after shipping and everything. I did do the install myself. I guess you could save on shipping since you live in that area.

That is a great price! What was the "Buy Now" price on ebay advertised at? I have always been paying what they are asking for - I guess I need to re-think my negotiating skills.

Well i put in a bid on it, but their starting bid price was only $10 less than the BIN price. If you see one that is not selling, when they relist it, it is sometimes $10-$30 less than before.
