Ive searched through the threads...havent found anyone with the Eisenmann Sport Exhaust, since some say that getting the Sport is no different from the 05 C230K stock exhaust...

If I were to get Remus, whats the setup? And Brabus?
Are these the only two good reliable German exhausts?
In terms of money, Im probably fine with going around 1K...
thanks drexappeal!
i don't know if it will help, since Nick has a c240, but he has the eisenmann sport, if you look it up on youtube

in a sense I'm leaning towards the Eisenmann SPORT exhaust cuz i think on the 05 C230K with I4, the RACE exhaust wines and sounds ricey at high rpm (quote me if I'm wrong)...like I said Im lookin for that deep throaty sound on my I4 engine...itd be nice to have that type of sound at low and high rpm...

still dont know what other German exhausts produce a nice deep throaty sporty sound on my 05 C230K...sigh

so either one of these will give me a deep throaty sound on an I4 engine???

i dont see that many ppl on this forum using supersprint...so next best is remus?

I still don't know if I should jus get the Eisenmann Sport exhaust..worries me that some say it sounds like the stock 05 c230k exhaust...but at the same time i dont want the Eisenmann Race Exhaust cuz i know itll be too loud and itll whine on the I4 engine at high rpm...

kinda torn in between...

go with a magnaflow. most of the videos i've seen on youtube and heard in person doesn't sound as bad as you may think. it's deep and smooth.

but if you're going for deep, maybe try kleeman like Drex? andymeng had one for sale!

now im torn again...

i think i should just go for Remus on my car...is Remus popular on the 05 C230k ss? Is this a good exhaust for that LOUD deep throaty tone (of course louder than the OEM exhaust but not like the Eisenmann Race)

anyone know if the Eisenmann Sport Exhaust whines on high rpms for my I4? Or is this exhaust the same as the stock exhaust in terms of sound?

Obviously you never saw that my piping was custom made by them, MJ50 got his exhaust done there, splinter got a resonator delete done there, and many, many other people.

Talk to Pepe.

Yeah, so I went to AAA today...met up with Pepe...real honest to me. He said that with Remus it won't sound noticeably louder on my I4 engine...with Eisenmann Race/Sport Exhaust, itll tend to sound whaspy and rice rockety every time i rev...

So he kinda introduced MagnaFlow to me...(mentioned ROLLNNN's setup)...I don't know if I should go for the American companies..still I like my ride full German...

Then Pepe introduced his own custom exhaust system thatll guarantee that deep throaty sporty sound I'm looking for...on top of that itll be loud! His friend Mo drove his I4 Accord over, and he revved his engine, and i was stunned. Mo had quad tips on custom exhaust system..and man it sounded like a V6 engine!

So now I requested a quote from Pepe...he said $505 +150 labor for a catback exhaust, 3" center pipe, elite muffler, and tips...goood price...

now i dont know if i should still consider American brands..MagnaFlow...since he did recommend it.

What do y'all think?

like i said dude, magnaflows are deep and smooth, and many, many people have/had them. it can get drony, but it'll be noticeably louder.

but, it's one of, if not the cheapest, decent muffler you can buy.

i like kleeman's muff, it has a distinct sound, maybe you should look at some more youtube videos?

When i did my exhaust, Pepe suggested i use his muffler (Elite) also. He told me it sounded like magnaflow but louder. I didn't want it too loud, so i went with the magnaflow.

The price he gave you is kinda high? are you doing anything special?? my setup cost $525 total... it would've been the same price with his Elite muffler.

I think if you like the sound of his elite muffler, go for it...

Why 3 inch piping? You don't need 3 inch piping for the m271 and could cause loss of torque. 2.5-2.75 (max). He may lower the price with smaller piping.
