Where does the 02 sensor get moved to in order to prevent the CEL?
I have a 2002 C230 Sport Coupe. Do you know what my stock diameter piping is? I'd like to see if this would fit.
I'm pm'ing some dudes to see about getting an answer.

2.5' should work for your car. the other cat i sold, went to a C230 SS as well.

Thats what I have and I passed smog.
There's other Universal models that look the same but aren't designed to the same spec, and ie you may not pass.
I paid 300 installed in San Jose at Michael's Mufflers on Pearl Ave.
The 02 sensors aren't effected as the piping is cut between the mounting points.
Stock piping is 2". Magnaflow pn is 43004 though mine has the 43006 which is 2.5", but I think thats just because that what the guy had in stock at the time. (43005 is 2.25")
Check your email for more detailed info.
I didn't want to completely hijack the thread.
But you want the hi efficiency one for Cali if you care to pass smog.
Not sure about other states.
What's the pn of this one for sale?

Good meeting you too... Thanks man, your E is looking good too, will be sick with the E63 kit... and if you change your mind that Alderla kit is

Yeah, I had an accident with my C230K SS ($3K damage)and MB of Laguna Niguel took it as AS-IS as trade-in for my 06 E350. I do miss my C230 especially when I saw ROLLNNN.
I was calling you the other day to ask who installed your AMG brakes but I guess you changed your number. I'm putting AMG CLS55 brakes on my car next week. Serg at HMS is doing it for me.
While I'm waiting for funds
for my E63 facelift, I had Pepe @ AAA install tips.

You like?
Anyways, nice to hear from you again, Pare. See you in the next meet. Maybe Jose can take some cool pictures of my car. I tried.

Here's my car before the accident:

I love those rear shots

I'm unclear as to what the "best" piping is for the best airflow. There are two options that I see I could go:
1. https://mbworld.org/forums/attachmen...3&d=1207145364
2. http://img167.imageshack.us/img167/7990/dsc0038bn4.jpg
is there a better setup between the two?

Um, the 1st one I remember because the guy went to a shop that said it wouldn't make a difference. Then he proceeded to tell us he was having airflow problems and without a doubt it's because of how the piping was done. The airflow is going back and forth and the muffler isn't designed to go both ways...LOL.
#2. If you really, really want to get it done right, just go to AAA in Los Angeles. Ask for Pepe, he'll make sure it's done right for you at a very reasonable price.

That's how all the pre-made aftermarket (dual exit) mufflers are (e.g. weltmeister, carlsson).
