C350 Coupe (CL203)
ah, i was going to say that's possibly more info than i could gather, however, you are correct, the NA market was somewhat restricted when it came to the coupes, my model never even made it over to you guys !!

most of the search results i am coming up with are in russian and are not the easiest of things to understand ... oddly enough i know the part number for the Brabus Exhaust for the coupe, and those are usually hard to work out the right part numbers for stuff !!

paqueras huh ..... hmm, that could be an option i guess, will have to look him up

Hi guys,

I will upload a bunch of pictures of the CL203 OEM AMG exhaust (2 tailpipes) and the measures and details of the bends of the whole system.
My car right now is at the shop so probably in a few days i will be able to do it.

This information is going to be in a separately thread with the following name: AMG COUPE EXHAUST SYSTEM.

Here's a couple quick pix of my quad tip exhaust that was done on the OEM muffler. The tips cost me $50 and labor was $160.

Thanks again Greg. Yeah, I went from nothing showing, to "in your face" quad exhaust. Can't beat the price...I'm considering deleting the resonator...we'll see. Post up some pix of yours next to your 308 in the wagon thread.

I would leave the resonator on IMO. Have mine removed and went back to putting cherry bombs on to quiet it back down but still have some growl at wot (wide open throttle).

different muffler. c320 stock exhaust is too quiet. resonator off sounds more like the 06 c230/350.

Thinking about getting eissenmann race exhaust, the price is a bit high for just a muffler and the reputation behind the company might not be the best but I really enjoy the deepness and growl that comes out of that exhaust.. any good or bad inputs on the exhaust?

Cool. let us know on the resonator delete. I was talking to a local guy ( in the local Albertsons P lot) with a c240 that sounded very nice. told me he was running stock muffler with reso delete but he gutted his stock muffler. Cut it open and pulled baffle(s.) cheap and sounded good. he had a local muffler shop do it.
So, the 308 has a small gas leak-a hose between the saddle gas tank(s.) looks like a do-able repair. been meaning to check f chat to see if it is a common problem with a DIY. May hit you via PM on it.

I've heard of guys replacing the hose as maintenance, but don't know if it is a common problem. I don't think it is too difficult, but working with fuel is always a pain in the ****. Hope you had a good turkey day...say hi to the fam.

FrankW - did you ever get my PM?

This is probably gonna sound reaaaallly dumb. But I figure I'm gonna ask anyways. I usually just swap out exhausts. But with my c230 I'm not really looking for hp increases tooo much. So my question is, how do you do the resonator delete? I knoowww imma get flamed on this one lol. But, w.e

No flame from me....if you look at your exhaust system, there is a "resonator" or pre muffler in between the cats and the rear muffler in the back. You merely cut it out ( or the exhaust shop does) and they weld in a straight pipe in lieu of the resonator.

You gain sound, but i don't beleive there is a change in HP....Some will claim it does, but i think it's seat of the pants percieved increase.

O yea.. I'm not lookin into hp increase on it. If that was the case I'd just buy a new exhaust or custom make one or something. Just wanna make it alil louder than stock. Probly should try n find some videos and see what it sounds like over stock.. i love the stock sound.. i just want it a lil louder.

Lookin at my exhaust today. Stupid question but I wanna try the resonator delete. I just wanna make sure I'm looking at the right spot. Is the resonator on each seperate exhaust pipe before they connect into one? Or is it on the piping thats only just one pipe? Just don't wanna screw this up.

those are the cats at the very front by the headers. the resonator is at the very back by the rear sway bar before the muffler. muffler shops will know what to remove. you dont want to remove the cats, theyre pricey

ya I knew bout the front. I was looking down where both exhausts pipes meet right before the bumper. right where they connect i saw seperate bumps before they come together then after they connect its one bump then the muffler. im guessing its that one bump.. lol

Borla anyone??

Is anyone running a Borla exhaust??? I've read a lot about the magnaflow but haven't really found anything on the Borla. I'm trying to get a setup similar to Rollin but IMO I like the sound of a Borla a lil more than the magnaflow. I've had magnaflow in my previous vehicles but to me the Borla has a deeper sound. I don't necessarily want it to be loud as much as a deep roar especially at WOT.
