I just spoke with Dee at D2technik. He was helpful, I ordered a remus with Dual round tips, only type available now, for 480 + shipping whatever that is.

I think thats an OK price rite?

I just hope i hear a decent sound difference for 480!

I also asked him if there was any other mufflers, he said supersprint didnt make one except for the w202 old style c class.

My goal was it for to be signifigantly deeper, my moneys worth hehe

looks like remus is the only choice for a bolt on install?

Now as far as installation goes, do I just cut the stock pipe and clamp this one on?

That's not true. I got an e-mail back from Supersprint and they have the C-Coupe mufflers in 3 styles, 2 of them available, 1 on backorder.

$480.00 is a great price i paid $580.00 for mine i have the round tips also, but like i said in another post they make square and DTM style.

I hope u are not to disapointed with the sound as its not to loud, and some people think its to quiet.

When you are heavy footed is it a difference than stock by much?

Buell, i checked supersprints site, it says that the muffler is coming soon. Ben said they dont have it either :/.

Oh well, hopefully I like the remus.

You will notice it. When i first drove away after i had the exhaust installed i flored it and it sounded great, it actually made my seat vibrate.

If its one thing its definitly not loud unless u are floring it and its still not THAT loud. at 70 it will be almost silent, but u will hear a very very low throughty tone. NOT ANOYING AT ALL.
The sound the remus makes will never be anoying.
To me at redline it sounds awsome u can definity tell the exhaust is there, from a dead stop while floring it to redline in each grear it sounds like a plane taking off.
Being heavy footed like me, u will know its there, its different than stock but provides perfect tones when u want them. and when u dont u wont hear it. you will probally like it. I am not sure if u have the C7 package or not but if u do, u do not have a resonator so it will be a little louder then the non C7 package, unless u have the resonator taken off.

I am really heavy footed and seem to ride the rpms nice and high in each gear. Im glad it wont be ricey, i guess thats why it cost more. The round tips look great.

Btw, who installed it for you? I dont think I should do it myself, because i dont have the tools to cut the muffler pipe.

The only thing we know from that e-mail is that they have mufflers for W202 sedans in stock. Does anyone know if the W202 muffler will fit a CL203?

Well judgeing from the products on thier webpage, they have different mufflers for the 203 c class. My guess is the hangers and mounting varies, im sure it could fit with a little creativity.

Things like the cat back pipe diameter im sure are the same, as the old c had the 230 4 cylinder and 280 6 cylinder, which is quite similar to the 320 6 in the 203.

Who knows, I did want a supersprint, but Ive been waiting a while. At one point i even thought of buying a 50 buck ebay obx univeral remus style muffler. I bet it would have been reallyloud, and I wanted something classy looking and deep.

Remus is what I ordered from d2technik.com. Buell found me that place thanks!!!

alot of people can do it their self and i guess i could have if i tried but i did not feel like cutting the pipe my self. I brought it to a shop where i live that works on alot of mercedes and he did in like 20 minutes. Any muffler shop will be able to do it.

me and a few friends are lookign for a good shop tyo do all our work, but we cant find one we like, and sicne you live clsoe...

its not a performance shop, the shop is in coral springs, he does not usually modify cars but my uncle used to talk to him so he does me a favor, he mostly does repair work for mercedes and bmws i think jaguar to.

there are not to many performance shop around if any.
there is one in pompano i think where my friends go but they mostly work with hondas and they also mofify trucks there to. i once called them up and they said they would be happy to install anyhing on my car, they said they can pretty much work on anything. the place is called Preston's i dont have the # but call up information thats where i got it from a while ago. (its a pretty good shop i think)
