W203/CL203 Aftermarket Exhaust Thread - All you want to know

I don't think you will get much, if any, horsepower increase.
Mercedes does a pretty good job with their exhaust systems.
I haven't looked under a C240, but I know there is no room for a dual exhaust on a C32.
Some people have put a fake one on (just the tail piece), for the "look".

Best exhaust
Don't want a loud exhaust and have had experience with Supersprint.
Who else makes an exhaust that is not really loud?

A lot of your "best..." questions require a subjective answer...there is no 'best' as it is really up to the individual. A few people have installed the AMG muffler as well as Eisenmann and Magnaflow. There is a plethora of info on these topics in other threads...the best thing to do would be to do a search.

Yes - I've seen pictures of dual exhausts for W203 where the right-side exhaust is not actually flowing - it is just mounted to the car and is not connected to the muffler.

The True OG Modded out W203
Damn Beatgarden! Slow down, you're gonna run out of things to do
How much did you pay for the exhaust? You got it done @ evosport right? I dunno how I can pull off a dual on mine. I guess if I do I'll have to cut my rear lip...But I don't want to. Anyways, did you notice any performance gains?

also, do you have a closer picture of your quad exhaust without the carlsson bumper i.e. with the stock bumper. i'm thinking about getting a quad exhaust without changing the rear valence, just using the stock.

Thanks for info.
Called Evosport today and they do not have any, and probably won't have them for 3-4 months since Carlsson has no distributor in the states I was told.

I guess they are pretty new. Anyone ever heard of them, they come from Germany.
The quad exhaust goes for $800, not bad for a quad exhaust but have no idea what they are like.
I've had Supersprint exhausts before and it seems that any other exhaust would require modifying the bumper.
Anyone know who else makes a quad exhaust besides Carlsson?

I ordered my Eisenmann exhaust on monday from Beckers. I got the Dual 83mm High Performance one. I should have it tomorrow. Planning to get it installed on friday! I'll post pics when it's done.
I heard that TIG welding with stainless is the best way to install. Any opinions?
