Hey guys thanks for the complements. Here are the answers to your questions.
1) It sounds deep. Not loud but louder than the C43. Probably quieter than a Remus or Eisenmann. I do have my stock resonator still and Im not strait pipe. I am considering removing the resonator to make it louder but then again. Its very nice having a quiet muffler. If I can figure out how to use quicktime Ill record it with my digital camera and you guys can listen to it. Can anyone tell me how it works? Hehe.
2) My tailights are smoked. I used a removable tint spray so just in case I mess up or get tired of the "smoked" look I can just peel it off and have it back to stock. I removed it the first time because I didnt clean the lense properly. It wasnt that hard and it removes off very cleany. The spray cost about $20 for a smaller can which is enough for 2 cars or 2 times if you mess up like me.
3) It is almost a complete bolt on application. But I recommend any muffler shop to do it since the part that attaches to your pipe (right past the resonator) needs to be cut. Other than that, everything else bolts on. Its very strait forward and simple. I just had them weld everything together so I dont have any leaks anywhere. But it does come with all clamps, etc.
4) noblert10, Im not in a prison but thats a private alley in downtown LA where everything is barred.
5) I did not cut the bumper to fit. It is suppose to fit without cutting and there is a rear valance optional piece you can get. I hope someone gets it so I can see what it looks like. Hehe.
6) Jim show us pics of your ML exhaust. I bet it looks nice. The peice going across is powercoated some dark color so it blends in with the bumper. From the left side one end of the tip extends so it flows better. You have to see it. They did a good job designing this.
7) FrankW I think you need to get it and find out. The pipe is pretty big so I get good flow. You really shouldnt see much difference in power if you got it.

dual tips quad exhaust
i plan on purchausing muffler tips and not looking for performcance nor sound just looks. I like the style of tips that RB Tech has they are dual tips but what i am trying to say is that the passenger side i would like tips there as well. Can the tips be welded on there to some how? has this been done? sorry if i am unclear on what i want.. ITs late hehe

I have a supersprint header mid pipe and muffler on my Scirocco. It did not fit well at all but runs great and is very quiet (the way I like it). No experience with them outside of the A1 VW world.

yeah, that is usually how most quad exhausts are done. if you are using your stock muffler, then go to a muffler shop and have them make you a custom pipe that is attached to your right muffler tip (when viewed from back of car) and goes across the other side and has tips welded to it. on the muffler side, simply have them weld on a set of tips to the left, existing tip. hope im not confusing in any way. HEHEHE. if you want a clearer understanding, look at the pics below.
