removing w203 parts question
hey guys,
do you know if you can remove the parts below w/o taking apart the door panels and rear bumper? i want to get rid of a scratch on the piece below the window and the rear bumper impact strip...
i have a c55 and i want to take it off my c230 and put it on the c55...

Supposedly, the rear impact strip can be removed with your hands and a soft wedge tool. I believe you have to take off the rear side impact strips (on the side of the rear bumper) first. Start removing the impact strip from the rear wheel fender area.
Don't quote me on this, I'm not 100% sure of the order, confirm it with your service manager. Please don't follow through with my suggestion until you are sure of what you are doing.

yeah, i picked up a used 05 a few days back, i still have the 230, should be sold within a week.
no one else can help? common folks!!!!! =P

congrats on the C55!
when I took the stips off my bumper on my old W202 I had to remove the bumper and there were snap like pins you had to compress to release the strip, was a huge PITA to remove.
hey you going to part your c230 out? if you're going to sell the wheels/lip/bix PM me a price

@alboogiee, if that is the case i'd leave it (thanks). i will let you know if i have any parts to sell - i might sell as is. not sure yet.
@mj50, thanks buddy, it was a long and stressfull process but it's almost done, i just need to sell the 230 now. pics will have to wait till i wax and clean. second hand c55 and no mods
i have to start from scratch. euro teck lip is first tho =)
