hey everyone,

i've had my c230 coupe for about three years and am about to start my last year of warranty. my goal is to make sure to look out for any potential recalls defects before my least year of warranty is up.

so far i've had to fix:

-trunk opening (it was sticking shut very badly)
-mechanical piece related to panaromic wind deflector
-drivers side door handle sensor (for opening the windows with remote)
-armrest (b/c it was peeling)
-mechanism/string that suspends trunk cover

i was wondering what other warranty fixes have you all had to make?

i guess you're right. that list is so long that it practically names everything. i just wasnt sure what recalls are more common.

C230 Sport Coup

My headlights had a harness update,
free under warranty. Same with the tail lights.
And the leak on the side of the tranny where a sensor bolts in are the
only things that I recall that were updated.

Control Arm Bushings and something else in the suspension. They have updated components now.

Have you had your front turn signals rewired? They frequently burn out due to poor connections between socket and bulb. Fix is a new socket and wiring harness.
Make sure your suspensions bits have been checked very carefully. A small amount of wear can cause annoying noises.
Is your CD changer still reliable (if installed).
Are your wheel bolts rusty?

Yeh, I both of those.
And last time I was in they replaced the tie rod ends, without me asking...
ha, and I have springs and AMG swaybars.
They put new bushings on the swaybars too....they couldn't have gotten the right ones?
