Hey guys, I have a problem here.. Although the fenders are already rolled to the max, my tyre(just the rear left) is rubbing like hell!!! All the sharp things inside the fenders are already cut as well. Anyone knows how to solve it? The sound is really annoying, and the thing is that I still want to lower my car a little bit.. ![Smilie](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/smile.gif)
By the way, I'm planning to buy LED Tail lights(Cl-Style) but somebody told me that the LED often went off. Do anyone who use the LED tail lights has that kind of problem?

when you say rub only on the left was that with just you in the car? cause chances are that if you have two people in the car it will rub on both sides..I was running 255's in the back with my deep dish rims and it was a constant rub...I had to take them back and settle for 245's and 9.5 is way too wide for the back fenders...i would say see if you can get 245 8.5's all around..and that way you can easily rotate them next season...
just my opinion

I've tried to put one passenger in the front seat but the rear left tyre is the only one that rubs. When I tried to put another passenger in the back seat, the tyre was absolutely touching the fender all the time. Somebody told me that it was because the Michellin tyres were too damn rectangular(not like Toyo or Falken tyres that have round edges). i just bought the tyres and i prefer not to change the whole tyres... So, i'm looking for a way to solve it without getting new tyres..
Thanks anyway,,

if you allready rubbed down all the metal inside the fender, then i think your only option is to change your tire brand. I had mich's and i rubbed really bad in the driver side rear. Go with Falken, Toyo's or Nittos, and you'll be fine....![Smilie](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/smile.gif)
also, you might also want to check your allignment, my driver side rear was toed in really bad causing it to rub more on that side than the other.

I'm sure you'd recognize my car if I posted a pic of it, yet I prefer to still post on csportcoupe.com yet its been renamed, PM a mod (drex) for the new site address since they frown on posting it publically.

I would say switch the rear tires to Toyo T1-R. Are you using your stock shocks? Bilstein sport has higher compression damping than stock or Koni and should help the situation also.

I run the Michelin pilot PS2's with 19x9.5 in the rear and also had a problem with the tire rubbing on the left side. I personally cut all the sharp areas off the inside of the fender as well and it still rubbed. I ended up taking my wheels back to I-Forged and had them shave 1/4 inch off the back pad to suck the wheels in more. Now there is no rubbing even with the car loaded with 5 people.

i think H&R springs are notorious for uneven rear drops, my civic was lowered more on the rear left and ive noticed this too on my benz now, the rear right sits higher and the rear left looks more tucked. so im guessing thats why you rub, try a bigger pad to even it out like a #3.

So you think it's the part of the rear bumper where it meets the quarter panel?? hmm, i'll have to look.

Your wheels' offset are incorrect, that is why you're rubbing. Rolling the fender might help, but i think our cars are already slightly rolled if you feel the fender. Unless you start rolling the fender towards the bumper, that might help.

Because they look amazing with 255's. Also it is part of my upcoming wheel project. I am going to be powdercoating my stock wheels a light gunmetal color to give it that OEM aftermarket look With the agressive 15mm spacers it gives it the wide feel i'm going for! I will post pictures once it's complete. Just something i thought would look great and different.
