DCX Crossfire
What do you people think about the 2004 Crossfire that Chrysler is bringing out. Apparently it will be very high on MB C-class content and will have the 3.2L V6 engine. And the price is very reasonable. If it turns out to be a good vehicle and sells well I think it may cut into C- class sales.

I like it, but not with only two seats for my daily driver.
I believe the volume for the US is 18k units. It is powered by the MB 3.2L V6 and available with a 6-speed manual. The engine has the plastic covers on it with the Chrysler Winged Logo. I think it will be a hot seller - at least good for the allocated 18k units.

Old Mercedes parts bin crap, don't even like the thought of Mercedes parts in my Mercedes. That's all I need, Mercedes reliability with Chrysler service, my worst nightmare. I think Chrysler needed to come up with someting in a hurry to compete with the T-Bird. They should have done a convertible, then they might have a chance.

To quote JamE55, It could be worse. Mid-70's Chrysler reliability and BMW service.
