Brake fade in a daily driver?

You don't get brake fade in a one time stop situation. You must be doing repeat hard breaking. The other causes could be boiling break fluid (which I doubt), or brakes that were not bedded in properly. If you are breaking and the pedal goes further with no increase in stopping power, you have green fade. When your brakes got put on, they developed a glaze which prevents optimum performance.

yes in a daily driver. that's why i said traffic and riverside heat sucks!

i had to repeatedly brake hard when stupid moron drivers try to cut me, or somehow traffic goes from 40mph to 3mph. this happened on the 405 going to anaheim where everything is going 75mph one second, then it hops down to 20 the next. i know what brakefade is; it was pretty scary how i had to find out, lol. i had to swerve onto the emergency lane, nearly hitting the car in front of me.

edit: i don't have new brakes either, so yeahhh. might as well upgrade to the c32 ones when i replace it soon.

I just installed the Hoen Xenonmatch city lights, and I have to say that they look great! You can't even really see the blue bulb unless you get real close, and the difference to stock is just

Melted LED

I ordered these same LED bulbs from the link above, however my LED's were shipped with some type of resistors. The directions and diagrams are so poorly written that I didnt know if I needed to use the resistors or just plug the LED bulbs in. In the thread above nobody mentioned the use of the resistors. So I pluged the first LED in, it lit up fine - then began to smoke and melt right b4 my eyes, If anyone used the resistors how are they installed can you include directions or a photo.

waveykat says they shouldn't come with resistors. if anything, there are cheaper ones by ebay seller sixity, which i bought from, that work perfectly fine. i had to trim it a little, and in the process i think i tampered with one of the contacts on the right LED. the left side works fine, shows no errors, but both of them light up, hasn't melted, and don't flicker.

I ordered the same thing and it came with some kind of regulators and also has two pictures in it. The same thing happened to me they just melted in seconds. I contacted the seller and he agreed to exchange a new pair for me.

Does anyone know how the light color matches up alongside OEM BIX? Are these more blueish, purpleish, white?

They are pretty white. If compare to OEM 4300K I'd say this has just a little bit of blue tint in it but I think they match pretty well.

Ok, this LED for the license plate for whoever got the 6418 on their cars. The seller said there is no error just plug and play...
