Build Quality ????

C200 K W203

Build Quality ????

HI guy I just bought a 2006 C200 k M271 last november but it soon started to show low quality build:
1- Exessive heat in the drivers side pedal area
2- Can feel air leeking at speeds over 60 mph from the two front doors.From the window button area and the window base.
My car is assembeled here in Egypt went to the dealer they said that everything is normal.
Is this normal with your C classes ?

We don't get the C200 here but my C230 does not have those problems at all. Build quality on my 2004.5 is excellent, no problems in the past 29 months since new.

oh i know what ur talkin about my 05 c230k does the same thing i can feel air coming from some where too and i feel the heat i guess that is normal then

maybe ur car is MADE IN CHINA???

since there really isn't any C200 around in the US but i know they have E200 in china....

my C200k was built in Bangkok and no such problems as you mentioned however, i do get the same problems as a lot of US users such as squeaks noise, annoying faults, etc. m Mainly electronic stuff. I didn't know Daimler has assembly in Egypt too. However, at 60mpg you shouldn't have air leaking at the door, this is not normal.
