HID Fog Owners...
Do you guys notice that you get pulled over more often with them on? Or that they bring on a tad bit too much attention (negative at that)? I've noticed that EVERY time I've gotten pulled over, the fog lights have been on. I'm pretty sure it calls too much attention to the car and what I'm really worried about is putting them on the M3.
I saw that they sold these PIAA Tera LED's for the fogs and I don't know if anyone has tried them. I want something more subtle for the M3 or ****, I can actually swap out the HID's from the w203 and put them in the M and put something else in the C230k b/c they're the same bulb (9006).

why do you get pulled over for? i mean i have HID fogs too, ive never got pulled over as of yet. HID kits dont even look brighter they just have a different colour than the regular halogen bulbs I bought a HID kit (9006) bcos the pictures you guys show make them look so0o bright lol

Really? I can BARELY tell the difference when they are on. I think that they are purely cosmetic. I actually don't drive with them on since they do so little. I just love the way they look when I hit unlock on my remote at night while approaching the car

i'm putting on HID fogs next weekend...
will have to see it myself how it looks... if it looks more like stock xenons, it should be fine... long time ago, i had aftermarket PIAA fog kit installed and got pulled over by a cop...

that's my favorite part as well! I can tell when they're on, but it really doesn't make that much of a diff w/BIX.

Ive got 10000K HID headlights and it really seems brighter. I didn't use to get flashed with the halogens and now i do and there adjusted in the same place. I really like them and would get fogs if didnt hit a d*mn sign and knock it loose.

you start to care when you get pulled over 6 times in a year... (even with the V1) and your car isn't exactly up to spec b/c of tint in the front windows, no front plate, and painted sidemarkers (the M3).

You're begging for trouble. I have a cop friend in CA, and he pulls over every person he sees something out of code, like no front plate, tint, trailer hitch partially blocking licence plate, wheels sticking out w/o mud flaps, etc. He doesn't site people for it, but it is probably cause for a pull over. I used to think he was a dick for doing it, but it is perfectly legal, and he catches a TON of DUIs. Most of his DUI arrests are intially a vehicle code pull over.
well, it's not like all those times stuck to my record.

Wait you got HID fogs in your CLK?? How the hell do you fit a bulb in there? I've been wanting to do it on my E55 AMG but the rounded fog lights (same as yours) are too short...HId bulbs are too long to fit in... what's your secret?!
