Suspension ? Please Help

Okay so we just recently bought a c-240 4-matic for my girl, so she has a car to drive during the winter when it snows. Anyway I have been looking for mods, and well this model apperantly from the searches I have done here and online, there are not many. So my question is Eibach makes a pro kit for the 4-matic, have any of you guys used Eibach and does it still ride pretty good?

All help is greatly appreciated....

Yeah, at the moment, no one makes a kit for the 4 matic, although vogtland is developing one (I think...)

Well here is the link to where I found that they make the eibach for the 4-matic.

http://www.drivewire.com/performance...240prokit.html

I also talked to S.P Engineering and they told me that Tein also makes a spring for the 4-Matic. I guess tomorrow I will call both places back and make sure they really fit an 04 4-matic....

The front springs on the 4matics are different than on the rwd models. If you look at the part numbers on the eibach springs you'll see that they are the same (rwd vs 4matic). If you want to lower the car you are going to have to wait until Vogtland finishes the springs for the 4matics. (Mid to late Feb.)

Yeah but they are 500 bucks for a set of springs. That is the only draw back.

But there are not any other choices out there....

Why lower your girl's car anyhow? Wouldn't you want to keep the ride as soft as possible (and keep the car it's stock height so that she doesn't scrape up the underside of the bumpers on curbs and such)? Unless, of course, she's like my girl and insists on having an M3... in which case why didn't you get her an M3 instead!?

Well see we got this because she used to drive an is300 and well last winter every time it snowed she got stuck or almost wrecked it, so we sold it this summer and looked at cars and she loved the c-class so i just figured get the all wheel drive one and we wouldn't have to worry bout it, which so far is true cuz she has had no problem yet this winter in the snow.

As far as dropping it thats is me that wants to do that because with the wheels we have on it normally ,(lowenhart LD5 19") it looks funny with the big old gap in the front wheel well, and she don't scrape really we had the IS300 droped and she never had any problems unless it snowed anyways....
