I saw this C230 on ebay and it looks like it has the digital thermotronic climate control system. Is this a new option or standard feature for 2007??

GRR - It looks like the C230 got the digital climate control that I've always wanted for MY 07. Figures ;-)

I believe on the '07s they are standard...previous years however its an option.

 

I had a loaner C class that had this digital control on it, definitely better than the non digital version of late, but still I preferred the look of the digital climate control in my 04 C320.

she even has nav as well, but just regular climate control

have you even thought about putting reiger kits on ur car
cause i think the audi reiger front looks very good

I wanted to as well, but there are a bunch of buttons that don't work with your car unless it came with the digital display becuase it doesn't have those capabilities. (REST button, charcoal filter)

 

i wonder if that will fit my car

for a minute there i thought the 07's have all the cool stuff like the black wood trim, amg dual exhaust tips, wider exhaust cutout for the rear bumper, amg trunk spoiler, and now digital climate control....but that's obviously an option.

 

Well all the 2007s do have the black bird's eye maple trim, amg dual exhaust tips, amg trunk spoiler. We're just not sure what the deal is with the digital climate control because it isn't standard because it's not on every C230 and it isn't listed as an option.

EDIT: I should have said that all 2007 C230 and C350 SPORT SEDANS have these features as standard.

 

This is what is known as a running change, the earlier production 2007 C230's do not have the digital controls, but those produced after a certain week will get it. Check the build date on the car with the digital control and I suspect you will see it is fairly recent.

 

from what i have heard..it is standrd on the SS models only and late productions...
