I heard a guy named Pattrick From German Car Care (G.C.C. 305-442-3370) in Florida is remapping C240/C320 ECU's to offer a 25HP gain. I also heard that they claim that the dealers can't detect them unless the drive the car and notice the speed. I think they might be affiliated with RennTech sense their both in the same location. Has anyone had their ECU done with him?? Is it true, 25HP?? Thats impressive for being a N.A. engine. If someone can give more a little more INFO about it, I will go get mines done ASAP.

Seems a bit optimistic to me. If you can get a guarantee in writing, and dyno your car before and after, go for it! If not, then I would suggest spending your money on realistic HP.

 

Most dyno's I've seen with chips that make unrealistiv claims show very small gains of 6-8hp 99% of the time and then momentarily spike to 25% for a very short duration. Ask to see a dyno so you can judge for yourself. You may want to consider the Evosport pulley kit for your car as some people have experienced as much as 15hp.

its coverd only C320 engine not C240
its just a compressor not any more that offerd 90HP as i heard from the Kojak Company in UAE,SHJ.

i'm gonna head over there tomorrow and see what they say about it... if it's a good price and he'll put it in writing, i'll go dyno my car next week... then save $$$ for the remap... i'll let you guys know

Make sure you dyno your car at the same conditions before and after. A dyno run at the end of a long-hot day of driving compared to a cold-morning run can at times yield 10-15HP.

I didn't have a chance to go today because i've been working on my car for saturday's fast and furious casting. (no ricer jokes, it's an opportunity to have your car in a movie and get paid for it). I called german car care and they quoted me $850... but didn't give me details, i'll try to go there next week.

 

Id be careful about chips. Ive heard bad things. Thats why I stayed away from them. Dont let them advance your timing or raise your rev limitor. That just causes a lot of stress on the motor. 25hp is a lot of gains. I think the Evosport underdrive pulley kit is a better bet since it just frees up your hp. I really noticed the difference after I got it.
