Phil, Thanks for the compliment. I still haven't used the Menzerna Power Lock yet. My car still has all the dealer installed clearcoat swirls. I have yet to do any correction yet. 
That was just my standard Optimum No-Rinse Wash, topped with Optimum Instant Detailer. Tires got 2 coats of Optimum Opti-bond Tire gel via HF HLVP spray gun. I just posted updated pics on the Picture thread here: https://mbworld.org/forums/4186375-post3864.html
The Optimum products do a good job of making the car look much better than it does in reality. The front of my car looks horrible and needs a repaint from all the chips. I tried to take pics, but the chips really don't show up well.

This pic shows the front end a little better, but it doesn't show how really bad it is in person. I am getting ready to shoot the grille with the factory paint color, just because I can stand the pitting of the chrome. You can even see the Bi-Xenon's are quite clear from all the pitting too. That is the exact gun I use. No sling, nice uniform finish, and soooooooooo easy to apply. Mix 2 parts opti-bond with 1 part DI water and spray.

Recently retired another portable for a 150 psi Senco…to better countersink recalcitrant nails.
Still perfectly serviceable, it is yours for the asking when next we catch up.
Know you’re no charity case, but it’ll otherwise soon be donated to Habitat for Humanity.

Just wanted to update this thread on on the happenings of late. So, I got hit by an armored car:
And then just before the car was ready to go to the body shop to be fixed, the fuel pump crapped out. $230 later, the car is running again.
Just dropped the car off at the body shop to repair the armored car damage. Added $600 to repair and respray the bumper, and euro impact strips I have had for MONTHS. But, then they told me it is going to be 3 weeks before I get it back

And then just before the car was ready to go to the body shop to be fixed, the fuel pump crapped out. $230 later, the car is running again.

The thing is beat too. Pulls HARD to the right, and the steering wheel is way off-center. The 1st time I hit the brakes, I almost lost control of the steering wheel, as the shimmy from warped rotors was incredible.

Did you find out why the fuel pump crapped out? I'd be concerned about the electronics of other parts that may die later on that you won't be able to tie back to the armored car damage.

Complain like hell! At the very least the rental agency should get you in something that doesn't have those problems. They are taking the insurance company's money, and charging them by calendar day -- they should be able to get you in something decent. More than likely the rental agency knows it has problems, but puts the insurance claims in it because those people usually won't complain, while people spending their own money won't take it.

heres our best rental place around here... I use to help deliver the rental cars to the customers and pick them up from their houses. They use to have alot more but the owner sold the lambos and ferraris and getting new models this year. Insurance companys only insure high end exotic up to 25k miles, I think thats what he said.
