7000k hid problems
i installed my HID from xtec 1 month ago and every once in a while when i go start the car, the lights go on and off. did anybody else have this problem and know how to slove it? the lights will go on and off for like 5 mins den finally just works. mostly in mornings.

that sounds like anomaly which occurs when car setting hasn't been toggled
to something equiv to "HID PRESENT". have you taken your car to dealer to
have this done yet? certain (most) ballasts introduce a load to the car
electronic system which interprets the new lighting system as a problem.

i was told to put a higher amp fuse in the fuse box. will i damage anything if i do that??
dation. that's akin to putting a penny into a screw-in fuse in your home fuse
panel (older homes still have this design). that's a near guarantee way of
setting your car (and home) up for flames. it's a ticking time bomb.
yes i did get a error message saying rf headlamp out and lf headlamp out.
HID lighting system now in place (where previous was halogen) have this done
now. if you're lucky, it'll cost you nothing. more likely they will charge you an
outrageous $50-100 for a task which takes them no more than 10-15 mins tops.
