im out 3 days time thats all... I've already dodged a tool from hitting the front end of my car, honestly... Maybe im next in line for a lightening strike, or maybe I will win the lotto lol

thanks for clearing up the science behind the focal point of projectors.

I have $500 deduct on the insurance, so its easier to just replace the unit. After the initial claim, your insurance will go up. I travel where there is lots of construction, so tools and rocks flying off aren't that extraordinary. Anyone travel the florida turnpikes here?

They gravel the roads in the winter here in the northwest, so I have had lots of broken headlights and rockchips and broken windows. The factory Mercedes windshields are tuff, they can take a lot more then most. My Suburban has gone through so many I have lost count. On my 88 260e I weant through 3 headlamps in about six weeks. Finally got the clear gaurds. They turn yellow after a while. On my c230 I have had no problems with rock chips or even the slightest little nick. They must be stronger? But once you do get a little hole they start to fill up with water then your bulb goes out. They do make clear gaurds for c class, something to think about if your worried. I have stock lamps on shelf if anyone ever gets in a bind.

Check Performance product or even Cardomain, I got mine through the dealer at the time, paid way to much. But I was frustrated.

Oh! try the tint shops they do clear bra's and the kits can come with them. Only use Clear Gaurd because my 3M is turnig really yellow. When the spring comes I will be swithcing to Clear Gaurd.
