When you say flash the ECU do you mean going throught the OBDII port and upload new software. Or do you guys open the ECU and put a different chip in it?
Has any one with the kleeman k-box gotten there ECU flashed. If so what is your procedure. I have a dyno of my car so it can be tuned to my specs.

It's pulling very nicely as I stated earlier. Before the car would go go go and then just kind of die off. Now it just keeps going all the way to redline, very linear. Don't get me wrong its not the same feeling as adding a straight 75 shot but it just feels smoother and pulls harder. I'm very happy with the tune.

I just have one question. Have you guys tuned any of the 07 C230SS running ethanol? Not sure what the difference is in the ECM of the 07, but I am told there are 2 different programs depending on what the fuel the fuel sensor detects.

Kompressor Engines should expect a 10HP/12TQ gain on 91OCT and 12HP/14TQ on 93OCT. The C230 V6 will yield 18HP/20TQ on 91OCT and 20HP/22TQ on 93OCT.

maybe its just me... but i think the 1.8L m271 engines should pay less because the gain is about 55% less than the v6 c230's.
honestly, i doubt the effort to tune the ECU is any less than for the cars with the larger engines, but to pay the same price for the similar job and to get less results doesn't make sense to me. i think it only makes sense to charge less for the 1.8L m271. anyone else agree?
