Anybody know any dealers willing to deal on a C230 Coupe?
I need to order one and I live in Texas but willing to order from anywhere in the US from a dealer who is willing to sell below MSRP.
Somebody said they got 3 percent over invoice...that would be a good deal.

I was wondering if you guys got any good deals from some of the dealers around you?
Around here it is MSRP. I was wondering if below MSRP was possible. This car is for my sister.
She is looking for
C2 package
C7 package
5 speed or auto...she can't decide yet.
Orion blue if there is no $1000 surcharge

I just saw an Orion, c2, c7, comand at Princeton MB..they're willing to deal on this car as the buyer cancelled his order because of leather delays. Sticker on the window was low end of $29k...but like I said, they're looking to deal.

I found 3 dealers willing to sell at invoice +3%, and wound up buying from MB of Greenwich (CT). Justin Lechter is the saleman.
You might be able to find something closer to home. I contacted a bunch of dealers within a 90 min drive. However, in NY Metro area that encompases a lot of dealers and people, it might be less in Texas, so expand your boundaries. I called the dealers, asked for a salesperson, and said "I am phone shopping for a car, which is the way I have bought my last 5 cars. I am prepared to buy this car (model & options), and want a price of 3% over dealer invoice. Are you willing to sell me a car for that price?" Some were insulted, some said no, and some got back to me with a "yes". This approach has worked fine for me. Just pick which areas and dealers you want to solicit.

yup....they suck (actually, it's one specific sales monkey that I dealt with)....but they have the car as a stock item, and they're looking to move it

I tried to tell he to get the package with the leather and sunroof but she does not want leather....so that is that..at least she is getting the C7 package...
How good is the auto trans in the C230?
I am gonna call all the MB dealers in Texas and try to get a good deal. I called one in Louisana...Ross Motors MB in Layfeyette but they were only offering MSRP...they were selling 3 series bimmers for $1600 over invoice.
I got a dealer up in temple, texas and will call them tommorrow.

In some places they are very rare to come by. So expect to pay MSRP. Auto trans. is very sweet on the c230 but i preffer 6spd my self. Also what she want's will be hard to find at a dealer lot. Better she orders one right now.
