Help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

check engine sign came on after gas tank cap was closed improperly

... how do i get rid of it?

Just make sure you close it securely and the light will reset itself after a couple ignition cycles.

+1, its part of the emission standards regulations, MB makes a big deal of it and flips the light. Just keep it off for a few days and you're set. I had the same issue a few years back.

if it doesnt go away it could be a loose vacum line, or something else completely seperate, just bad timing... get the cheap ODB scanner from ebay and use the check code and reset function... anyone here ever use those?
