It's sad that they didnt rate the General Exclaim UHPs. Seriously, look them up on tirerack and see how actual consumers have rated them...

Or, the Toyo Proxes 4.

They are great all around ZR rated tire, even do well in snow but wore out at around 20K miles. I have the Yoko H4s now which good reviews at Tirerack but Consumer Reports says they suck in the snow. I guess I'll find out when we get our 1st real storm.

Later...

They are much quieter than any tire I've tried so far including the factory michelin, factory conti's, bridgestone pontenza re750 and pirelli pzero nero. Also, they have a rim protector bead, looks decent and doesn't have the stigma of korean kuhmo tires. Don't know how long they last but they have a decent wear rating.

huh?

How about Kuhmo ASX instead?

the Pirelli 3000s are T speed rated, so they are out, and you're right Kar don, I don't need V speed rated tires...

Opinions?

The Solus is the only Kuhmo that comes with a treadwear warranty (50,000 miles). None of the others Kuhmos have a treadwear warranty that I could find.

I was looking for a 50,000 mile (min) tire. It sucks that the major manufactureres offer low profile tires without making a commitment to their longevity. My Dunlop SP Sport A2s (225/50 R16) barely qualified as low profile tires... I drove them like a granny (evenly worn front and rears) and got only 21,000 miles. I'm not into replacing tires every 20,000 miles..
