pics from the Northeast C-class...oops, i mean mb... meet 9/21
i'd guess that about 15+ people were there throughout the day. thanks for attending - a lot of fun and of course, it's good to have faces to the names.
way too much food (and bees!
) and drinks (i think some of it was alcoholic...)mostly w203 c-class cars (mostly coupes), a w202 c-class, clk430, a couple of e-class, and an slk (who was driving by and saw us so he decided to join in - we gave him a burger...)
mbworld and benzsport were represented heavily. but no one had mbworld stickers... where are those stickers???
CEC reps showed up (i think 3 of them) - a lorinser kitted silver coupe and sedan (pics to follow). ray catena gave away a whole bunch of keyrings, hats, one mug, and maybe a few other things that people grabbed before i got there. (possible next meet at CEC)
mostly, we were ogling each other's cars (um... a few too many orion blue coupes were there...), listening to Tnat's thumping sound system, talking car geek talk. the clk did a burnout for us. slk boy kept cleaning his car but wouldn't clean anyone else's.
loved the new bixenon headlights on slk boy's c320.a few of went to ray catena afterwards to drool over the new SL and E class cars... that dealership is huge! couldn't find the new CLK in the showroom though.
some quick stats:
1 female... who drove a land rover. at least it was orion blue.
1 person all the way from Virginia!
1 guest (red slk230)
1 soobie driver (ok, he's now officially an honorary member)
all the coupes seemed to be C7 - people, get some new wheels!
here's an early panoramic (before some of the others arrived)

I'll keep the Heinies, thank you very much.Weird how it was almost totally c classes. Good to see everyone, even Silver_Lana (eventually - there's always one who's fashionably late).
