Had an ex from S'pore. She was great (while it lasted). I stayed @ the Grand Hyatt on Orchard Road and had a blast. I still even remember a couple of malay words. Does that count in my favour?

Hola..so question is are you a towkay or an ahpek..first questions i thought off when i had to decide on mine..I got mine at 34..thought to myself..the new facelift W203 does not deserve a towkay or an ah pek driving it..

I got the obsidian black with sports package..just got the full AMG conversion done..18" Style 4 front AMG 225's and rear 255's on michelin sports..had front, rear and sills put on as well as the C55 spoiler..managed to get the AMG side fender badging as well(from ebay usa)..got the grill painted obsidian black as well..looks fabulous now..

next mod will be the Kleemann m27i performance kit..that will give it a kick up the as*..

what's your ride..any mods done..

I heard that by law, there is a size limit on the wheels you can put on a car in Singapore. Something like 17" or 18"'s maximum. Is this correct?

I didn't come up with that. A fellow singaporean friend told me that. I guess it is not true. Thanks for confirming.

check out www.kleemann.dk/site ...it is tuning company besides brabus, carlson.Has a pretty good history on reliability..the performance kits are quite effective..Kbox and filter(KN)..adds up to 40-50 hp..without harm to engine or economy..and very cost effective to Brabus and Carlson..I am thinking of getting the M271 kit installed here in UK..Singapore and even Malaysia have agents for this..
You can even go futher with manifolds and exhaust systems for even more umph..
What do you drive now..Good to hear the age group for C class are getting younger..First thing everyone called me when i got mine was, midlife ahpek crises at 34 when i got mine..but once they saw photos of my ride, they kept quiet and now have the look of respect..bec he W203 does look sporty and looks mean next to a Beemer 3 series..

I will post my ride soon..

you should post your merc photos as well..see what singapore has to offer when owning a merc..

i do remember many years ago about this cocky foreigner who taught it was funny to spray grafitti on a few cars..luxury ones..Think elsewhere you get a fine or at max a small jail sentence r comminity service..in Singapore..he got the fine, jail sentence and the worse bit was being whipped by a cane twice..I dont mean what your mum used to whack you when you were naughty..this is about 3 metres long and done by some professional..seen it on tv..not pretty..the point of contact is the backlash from the whip..the 2nd hit is done at the same contact point..major ouch..
Owning a merc means you have made it in life..unless some cocky youngster who just stuck a 3 pointed star on this 1985 nissan sunny or a bmw grill on a 1985 toyota corrola..i have seen this..very funny..the best was the led lights like the one on KITT from knightrider..saw some chinese lad runnign that on his daihatsu charade..on the front..with only dimmer on at night and this red leds goign left to right to left..was good from a distance in the dark but absolutely hilarious when he got close and you see the ride..
