Swollen Engine
May I ask why all Merc C200 Kompressor's engine coating is swollen. Most of the engine paint coating peeled off and/or bloated like a crap cheap engine. Otherwise it is running well. Any C200 Kompressor owners' comments ?

No....repppplyyy???? I don't believe if my one is the only one whose engine coat peeled off. I have seen all Merc C 200 Kompressor in Auckland, all like that. But the things is.: how come Mercedes can make such a lousy material. Even a cheap dirt Corolla would not be like that.

1) Likely, no one else is having the problem.

2) C 200 engine is different than the USA cars.

reminds me of what most of the 111 and 104 engines in the older cars did. For some reason the gray paint starts to bubble up. I have no idea why it does this though. Only speculations.
