LOL...That's plain b.s. No way chip tuning can get you a 39 hp increase. PLUS, the listing for stock hp has to be crank hp and that is even wrong (m271 engine is listed at 189 hp stock).

I call b.s. Already have an email to ask for dyno sheets.

Just looked at the Upsolute website and their claim is only an increase to 212crank hp, which I still call b.s. on.

Well, I'm proof of that. Haven't seen much in regards to gains on my Upsolute chipping - was around 3-5 tops on the "after" dynos.

I am kinda confused, though - is this an auction for an already-existing ecu? If so, there is no one ecu program for any one year; wouldn't you possibly run into compatibility issues?

Shhhh! It's a secret.

Drex, details/infighting/namecalling was posted years ago on the "other" forum, probably when you were only in the "if I buy a Benz, do I really have to buy an auto, just in case other family members have to drive it (thus making me officially a wuss)" stage.

My OLD W203 Coupe had just a Tad over 200 RWHP on a Dyno WIth a Kleemann Crank Pulley AND Upsolute software...The Claim sounds like BS

BTW It Took Upsolute FIVE TIMES to get me Numbers I was Happy with
HP/Torque AND A/F....Then The Coupe had a diet of Eating Blowers FIVE of them in under 35K

If that gain came so easy for both horsepower, fuel economy and top speed, wouldn't the engineers have figured that out and offered it standard? You know the competition that exists in Germany between MB vs BMW vs Audi

Sounds like snake oil to me...more power and better fuel mileage, something smells fishy

I personally have seen those kinds of gains on turbo Audis (APR Software) but not on our cars.

Yes. I've seen it on the Audi A4 1.8T, but not on a m271 C230 K SS. I haven't seen one company show a proven stock vs. chipped dyno sheet that proves any significant gains like this.

correct
not only APR, there is other software that will give about that gain on Audis 1.8T, infact, I think it's more than 40hp and 30ft/lb gain on Audi.

I've actually seen more on a stock 1.8T. w/ tuning only.

I'm pretty sure the stock numbers were listed at the mid 160's-mid170's at the crank (can't remember the exact number), cuz that was one of the cars I was considering when I bought my car (hindsight is 20-20, knowing the power gains are so much more significant than the m271). That car is a beast if it is tuned properly (just running on stock parts).
