I have a friend that works at a restaurant and a guy came in that owns a shop that is actually in cpress. Its about where Carson turns into Orangthorpe i think it is. I actually didnt go yet because im still not sure how dark i want to go. Becuase if i go to dark that will effect what kind of rims i get also. In my opinion.

Hmm...24 bucks DIY??
I paid 300, but it was done right.
I went dark in the back (15%) so nosey noses don't see what cargo I carry,
which in a coupe, can be a lot of crap!
In the front, I do want to see out the car, and have 35%.
IMHO, any darker, and it becomes hard to see out at night.
I'm glad my coupe has that little clear strip, so I can see out the back.

I have to take a little extra care when backing up etc. at night.
It would be very easy to miss something, oh like a kid or something,
run his little rugrat *** over....ok, no, don't do that.
I don't mind that the back is darker than the front.
I think the fact that they don't match will hopefully lead the cops to beleive that the front is factory.

sheeee-it....

If I'd seen this...

As I said before I have 35% all around because I'm in Mass., but any darker, and yes it would be difficult to see outside at night, I'm completely satisfied because at night when I'm driving downtown Boston or anywhere for that matter, no one can see, and in the daytime people can only see your head turn and thats about it.

Yup, I just had my tint done today and it's 35% in the front, 30% in the back. But, it's just a slight difference that it's not even noticeable. If anyone in the Mass. area needs tinting done, I recommend DayStar Glass Tinting. Been tinting windows since 1986. They'll even come to you, I got everything done except front windshield for $160. The number is (781) 231-3933. The guy's name is Henry. 99% of the time, that number goes to a machine, so just leave a message.

I'm a little jealous of the price....I paid $190, however they did a mint job so its not a huge deal, plus a couple days earlier, i hit for a grand at Foxwoods ....I see so many cars on the road, not just mercedes', but anything and it seems as if so many people have less than 35%. But oh well...35% is still classy, and thats all that matters to me...

Yeah, there are some times when I would like it to be darker, because it just feels like you're getting "more for your dollar" if you get it darker for the same amount of money. But, 35% is not bad and the guy was complaining about how he should raise his price to $200.
