no offense buddy, just the badges ppl are disagree on, rest of the car is just fine, don't care about undergrow, rice this or that, just that putting AMG on top of Kompressor is just like watching a 300 lbs fat lady on stage as being a model. At least, take off the Kompressor, or best of all, take out the AMG badges, but dont put both on

its basically come down to personal prefference. A WHOLE LOT of us know 'right from wrong'. you dont:

put an SS badge on a v6 camaro
put an RS4 badge on a stock a4
put and evo badge on a lancer
put an sti badge on a impreza

We all know whats real and whats not real. And a lot of personal opinions that are merely too harsh kinda shows how much time we really have on our hands, whether we think we're right or wrong. When it comes down to it, we're all of different race, creed, color, religion, class, etc... But we all share one thing in common. And thats the enthusiasm we share and pride we take in our cars.

Coming from personal experience, i didn't purchase my car to become "better" then anyone. i bought it because it was a goal and its something that I amde work for me. And i love it! I love being apart of the boards and getting the information that I've gotten from you guys. I love playing with my car and making it 'my own'/different as much as possible. But the 'hazing' thats put off by a few, whether its for sh*t n giggles or whatever, kinda needs to be thought about before typed out. I know its only the interent, but obviously we've all joined this board for a reason; to be apart of something with a group of people whom all share the same passion in fine detail, performance, and luxury of our cars.

I'm a firm believer in "if it doesnt produce like an amg, then its clearly not an amg". So yes, I agree the badges may need to go. However, thats my own personal prefference. We've all gotten parts that we found to be "cool" or "unique" and others may think the complete opposite. But thats the purpose of these boards. To share information, pics, ideas, etc. There are millions of parts [well for the w203, lets be real, options are scarse, lol] that we can buy. The chrome headlight trim rings, s-class tail lights, underglow kits, various rear spoiler lips, wheels, tires, engine parts, etc. A lot of things that we purchase becuase WE LIKE THEM, not because what other people think. I find it ahrd to believe that most of us here are buying parts to compete with others on this board. I know I'm not. I've got a few things in store for my C, and when its all said and done, whether most of you like it or not, its mine. No one has to like it, because its mine. Ive taken the time and effort to modify to my liking just the same as all of you have.

Lets start showing a little more maturity. We might not be on the same financial status, but we have merely the same car. So lets share our ideas, like em or not and go about our ways.

No offense but there's a big difference between being original and being a poser, and misrepresenting your car is one of them. It doesn't matter if its an AMG emblem on a C230 or a Type R on a Civic. It's like having a sign on the back of your car that says "Kick my *** and Smoke Me." If some people who see you on the freeway and happens to know stuff about cars, you'll probably have some or a lot of beef with them and they'll want to see if you can back up that AMG. The last time they'll see you is in their rear view mirror. Its just better to debadge before anything else bad happens, besides isn't this your wifes car?

Or at least one other negative conjunction. Since (Taken from Merriam-Webster): Nor, is used as a function word to introduce the second or last member or the second and each following member of a series of items each of which is negated

Well, I do apologize for the spelling error, however, there is a major difference between "right" and "write." In addition, I did not see the need to quote Merriam Webster. If you corrected me based on your personal knowledge, I commend you. If not, que sera sera.

My original intent was merely to tell him that I did not appreciate the racial slurs and not to address the grammar mistakes.

Consider "Check yourself" added to Webster's as of today.

What if a car has AMG styling, and to justify it by having the AMG badge on the left side while Kompressor on the right..It does not make it an AMG car, but AMG styling..which means, alloys and bodykit..If this badge is stuck on a normal standard body, then it will look silly or if you stick a C55 when it definately is not..

Sticking AMG on top of the kompressor is disrespectful and looks tacky..

I take Brabus and Kleemann and Carlson for comparison..We put that badge only if we fit a Brabus kit,alloys or whatever makes it a brabus conversion etc..that would justify it..same with kleemann and carlson..AMG is still a small tuning company with the same formula as with brabus,etc..difference is MERC owns them now..

It also raises the question..why doesn't AMG have any tuning solutions for mercedes engines like what brabus or kleeman and others have..simple solutions like ECU, headers, etc..they have the expertise and will definately have something to compete with kleeman's kbox or brabus box..etc..
