By the way guys...I have always wondered (since I saw kevblah's dash)...that huge grille looking object in the middle of the dashboard...what is that exactly? Is that some sort of audio component? Or is that an air vent (since I see vent controls right on it on kevblah...my c230 doesn't have that control scroll/knob).

So your cars do not have this????? I'm surprised you dont know this stuff, for being on here for a long time!! The roller basically controls the air flow full blast, little, none.
When it's cold out and the thing is on full blast, the inside of my car is like an oven, I keep this baby on low, unless I'm heating my pop tarts. haha I get a kick outta that.

I love the little cooling setting you can crack open when you have the heat on in the middle vent, turn up the blue arrows and cool air flows during the heat. Nice. And oh yeah, the pop tart thing, im trying that TONIGHT !

Are u guys not bored yet on picking on these uninspired tasteless MB owners?
Lately the forum turned into a "Oh have u seen this that?"
All af you take a brake. There will allways be people that come from Honda World or they will think that a badge will inprove the looks and performance of the car. Let them be and stop crying about it.

I caught the error on my repair, and of course they offered to fix it. But I didn't like the way they removed the original lettering, so I just had them order me the part and I did it myself... sure enough the part arrived saying "CLK 320." It's not hard rearranging the letters, but if the shop is not on the ball, they can miss it, and if the owner is not as particular or attentive as the owners here, they can miss catching it, too.

This is exactly what happens... I had some rear damage before Christmas, and when the body shop fixed it, everything was fine, except the replaced badging said "CLK 320" on my car, too. It turns out the part comes from MB reading "CLK 320" and the shop has to remove the "LK" and reposition the "C" before applying the badging as a unit.

This is only the 10th time MB-BOB or myself have related this story.
Yes, people get over it. Body Shops (to include MB dealers) routinely put the CLK320 badge not knowing any better. It's not really that funny.
They just simply are oblivious to what the badging means.
When you order badging for a C230 or C320, you're going to get the package with the full " C L K 3 2 0 ". I have one unopened sitting in my garage as I type this. That's just the way it is. Yes, laugh all you want, more likely than not, it's just a scew-up that even the owner of the car doesn't realize happened to him/her.
OK. time to merge this thread with all 27 other "CLK320 Badge" threads.
YAWN... nothing to see here... move along....

Semi-Modded W203 Spotted + Purchased
So, we (the dealer) took in a silver C240 today. It had some aftermarket parts, but I don't think he's on these forums. He had a flat hood badge, BRABUS trunk badge, and 17" AMG reps. Anyone in Boston seen this car around? First time seeing a BRABUS trunk badge in person, kinda weird how he put that on the car when he only had 2 other mods done.

they've got some pretty bad curb rash, and im not feeling the 17"s
he did mention new brake pads, and i think he said rotors
so im gonna see just what kind of rotors he put in
if they're good, im gonna see if i can swap those out
maybe the flat hood badge too
im going to be getting rims soon anyways
