No sound coming out from my factory system! help..
i have a 05 c230 sedan w/ the upgraded factory sound system. Once in awhile, no sound would come out of my speakers at all, but then i'd turn my car off for a second and it would work.
Today, I tried restarting my car several times, but still no sound. The head unit seems to be working fine. but i just get no sound.
anything i can do? any help would be appreciated!

The exact same thing happened to me. When the problem was intermittent, the dealership couldn't track it down. When it finally stopped altogether, they were able to diagnose. It turns out it was the amplifier. It was replaced underwarranty. Everything works fine now.

I had the same problem. Brought it in to the dealer, they said that something had to be reset in the computer or radio, I don't remember which one. Workes fine ever since.

Similar problem, whether or not my situation is relavent to your problem, i dunno... look in the driver side fuse panel. iirc, see if connector in which holds the audio unit fuse is not seated to the board. Its late, but I'll get specific if ya need me too.

2 days ago I had the same problem with no sound. I turned the car off and restarted it, then it went back to normal. However, mine also occasionally have bad statics on radio, and even on CD players/changers. I can cure it with restarts. There is more; sometimes one of the speakers on the door will pop extremely loud(scared the crap out of my passengers) on some songs either on the radio or CDs. Does anyone know what the problem might be? Is it the amp?

HTECH- could you go into specifics for the fuse on the drivers side?
Thanks.
