Hmm, i'm not sure why it's not working but doesn't it have a crank that you can use to close it manually? I think the sedan does, i know our ML has one. Try that, at least you'll get it closed.

Well i managed to close it manually but it wont open! i tried open it manually bbut it gets stuck at the same point anyways, looks like itssomething blocking the rails or maybe its derailed cause it wont get past a certain point manually or normally, it getsstuck in the same point all the time. Ill try tomorrow with better lighting to see if i can see something blocking the rail, not enough light right now to deal with it, i guess im ok now that at least i was able to close it manually.... something is something, thanks for everything, if anyone got any suggestion on how to deal with this i will appreciate it! Thanks!

C320 Coupe
this problem is known issue for the early version of coupe, you have to bring it to dealership and have them replace the parts, warranty should cover it, if not, then u have to pay like 2000 bucks to fix it. i heard someone mentioning DIY to fix it by putting lubricant in some gear or rail, i suggest u search the forum for that if u don't wanna spend money fixing it

Don't use WD40, use the correct stuff. I have posted the part number for the correct lube for the slide in the past. Do a search and you should find it.

the coupe does have a crank but it may be missing from the car. It is gold in color and should be in the glove box or in the sapre tire well.
