just find out yesterday, that u can adjust the volume from the BT unit with the dial. I thought i have to change it under options but i never able to find it, this just rock and blow the Z1 out of the way =)

i just installed my avic-d3 myself two days ago and am in love with it. the install was very clean and my buddy who owns an audio shop helped me out. i will post pics as soon as he sends them to me.

i believe it has number of illumination colors to match your car's interior dash lighting. check out the demo video on pioneer's website.

for the buttons, you can change i think around 65530 colours (which you customized it with Red, Blue and Green. for Menu colour, there are several colours to choose from.

i got an Ipod connected all the time, so yes i can listen to music, and Nav at the same time, or alternatively, if i wanna watch DVD and Nav at the same time, i can put in Nav DVD in, program my route destination, then after memory reads off the disc, eject it and put in DVD video/Div X video, then it will play DVD, when there are turns, the sound will mute and the lady will tell u turn left/right, and when you approach the intersection, it will show the bigger detailed map on which road to turn (switch from DVD movie to Map view). Once you end your turn, it will automatically switch back to DVD movie.

thank you, got my bumper plug today, installed it , still need time to get use to it, cuz it seems to be much cleaner and empty at the license plate spot heh, pic will be coming up soon after my next car wash =)
