I just got my ECU tuned today at Status and so far I'm quite happy with it. I can feel the slight increase in HP but I don't know how much. You can feel a good increase in acceleration and throttle response especially from 0-60 and 80+. On my way home from Status (1pm) it started raining hard on the 91. In traffic, I felt that I had to baby the accelerator so I don't carelessly smack any cars in traffic.

This evening when I was going home on the 57N after dropping off my girlfriend I was following this white DUB 300C Hemi. It had a few flat screens and one big one but I didn't see any passengers so I felt kinda pissed for it being a showoff so I quickly overtook the Hemi. Once he started chasing me, I just floored the accelerator and the Hemi just grew smaller and smaller in my rear view mirror, I waited until it caught up and floored it again

Thanks The Hemi was a big 'fatty' rolling on some chromed 20"s, I just couldn't help myself from playing around with him but I just couldn't pass up the opportunity to test out the car

Can you tell me more about the ECU work? What was the horsepower they advertise and is that on Super (93 M+S octane)? What was the cost? I found an ECU from MKB (Germany) that quotes 306 h.p. (that's 30+ even on a NA spec 268 h.p. C350) for $2900. That seemed at the high end price-wise. I was fishing around in a thread earlier about C350 ECU tuning and looking into it.

PS: Nice go with the Hemi. The C350 will do it to. I had a run in with one too and think I pulled away from him.

Just picked it up. Gotta get to a dyno at some point, but as always, just lovin' the difference with my car. For those of you that haven't head the vid clips I took, it sounds even better now. Maybe I'll take some day vids this weekend.

good god... i listened to your supercharger and exhaust video and it sounds so SICK! ok so what steps do i have to take to get that sound out of my m271? i cant mirror everything you did b/c i probably cant afford it. is it just the muffler?

I believe the ECU work mainly consists of remaping the ecu (depending on what type of fuel your using), removing the electronic speed limiter , and increasing throttle response

As for performance, I chose the program that optimizes performance using 91 octane (California is restricted to 91 octane). Performance increased by about 25 hp to the crank so that's a whooping 293 hp for the C350's

In your case Drop-a-Daimler (and many others outside of California using 93+ octane), you can expect to be very close to the 335i
All this at the fraction of the price of what MKB will charge you

I was gonna dyno it but someone from Status said that a C350 has already been dyno tuned a couple weeks ago. If anyone from Status/SpeedInnovation is a member here care to find that dyno sheet and post it up here please, that would be great
