I dont know which package you had with your 330i but in comparison with my now *sold* C230, with Premium Package on the BMW, the 335i dwarfs my c230 in everyway including electronics and nifty little gadgets and features.
In regards to bang for the buck. Quite honestly, i'm driving it.

all in all i really do like the drive of the 300i for me the two car are a coin toss. just because i have been driving benz longer so i kinda stick with benz.
and the other thing is where i live BMW are a dime a dozen, so benz become a little more rare of a car.

Well obviously you haven't looked around much. Maybe there haven't been a lot of 3-series owners jumped ship to a non AMG c-class (why would they?), but quite a few have done so to AMG models. Not just W203 AMG but other classes as well. There's a lot of new threads about a former bimmer owners buying an AMG.

I suspect these are the glory days for horsepower-hungry consumers. To realize we have these various delightful editions available today is almost too good to be true. That they have to meet and comply with EPA, DOT, NHTSA, CAFE, & CARB requirements, along with the edicts of myriad other regulatory agencies, it’s almost a miracle we can buy them at all.

07 G35 Sport 6MT, 2005 C230K SS (sold), 1998 Jeep GC 4x4 (da-heep!)
Congrats man. I wanted the 335i Sedan, but unfortunately it was a little bit out of my price range when loaded with everything I wanted. Ended up with an 07 G35 Sport (fully equipt). Basically the Jap Knock Off!
Anyway enjoy that car, its friggin sweet!

As well there should be. Between M, R, and AMG, we European marque enthusiasts (with a bit of disposable spending) have some truly outstanding and rewarding models from which to choose.

well that was the 2002 330i and it was fully loaded, and i had a 2002 C230 coupe and the BMW at that time did not have the rest feature and the one touch turning signals. and little thinks like that. however the C230 did not have the park-assist feature and stuff. but that then again the 330i was a lot more then the $$$ then the C230. so i was just referring to some of those features.
