For $315 bucks, can't beat that. >>>>>check it out http://xenonking.com/
Is this legit?

Also after I install it, do I definitely have to take it to the MB dealer to have the xenon setting put in? Or will it work without doing this?
No on 8000K.
OEM is 4300K.

drexappeal's post stated that the H7 was a dual filament bulb, and
presumed that it contained a Low filament as well as High filament
circuit. This is incorrect.

whether you are using HID, H7, E55 bixenons....the switching logic
remains the same. they are all, in effect, single filament...single
intensity bulbs. it's even simplier than some might originally believe.

the E55 bixenon is, electrically speaking, a single beam. it just
appears to be two because it is crippled in LOW and full strength
in HIGH.

you don't lose any part of the high beam through such a swap. the only
way this can occur is if someone crafted a supplemental wiring harness
and altered the control of the original light switching logic. this would be
unusual...but with aftermarket, anything is possible.

Mccullochs are AMAZING! I installed them and they seriously amazing.
The install is pretty easy, Less than a hour and halfs work and the install is clean....they include EVERYTHING you need for the nice clean install. Its just a pain to put the bulb in then assembly. Thats it, the light output is absolutly astonishing, they are brighter than my friends 04 acura tl hids(the stock ones we always see). I just didnt want to but the bix and spend 1200 and then return the car when my 3yrs is up and some lucky idiot has my work and money just "because". So i just got these lights and its a done deal. Seriously, they are so bright i actually can see @ nite now....they light up the entire road and then some.
Mcculloch is so good from xenonking, that ive already ordered my fogs. =)
If you need help w the install fell free to pm me. or aim is better =AMWCIA

HELP - Installing HID Kit on C270 CDI

Hello,

I'm trying to install an HID conversion kit on my wife's C270 CDI. Just picked them up from visionbulbs.com, and I have them mounted and running. They look great and work perfectly fine when I turn the dip beam and ignition lights on, but the second that I start the car, the dip beam switches off and then the ballast seemes to be trying to ignite the bulbs back (they flicker).

They keep repeating this then the dash display says I have n/s and o/s dipped bulbs faulty.

This only happens once the engine is started.

Is it something with the cars computer?

Does anyone know a way around this?

Any help would be much appreciated!

Are you certain that it is just a setting in the computer that needs to be changed/updated?

Yes, lots of ppl have done this before, this is because the bulb out feature cheacks for a certain current draw on the bulbs, since you switched to a xenon kit, you draw less power and therefore through a bulb out message, part of the bulb out feature is to disable the "faultly' light, so when the computer detects a fualt, it will not give power to the light.

Take a look at this thread. I bought the housings and an Mtec 6000K kit (same seller had 8K also). There is debate on going this way but so far I am happy with the results.

Search the forum! There has been tons of threads on this topic.
I heard that 6k are the best though lighting wise cause if you go any more it produces less light. Not 100% sure though...
