There is no ignitor...it is a one piece system, you mount the ballast outside the lights.

Xenon Foglights

I want to upgrade my Fog bulbs to match my bi-xenons (4300k?).

I prefer the Philips brand. Which model should I buy?

TIA

Do the clear fogs use a different bulb? I thought that just the lens was different.

Nope. My mistake.

I thought the fog lights use H1. but they dont

They are 9006 bulbs.

I am going to go with the PIAA Xtreme white instead. I hear they are very good

now for city lights...

I just installed some PIAA foglights with the Xtreme white bulbs on my bro-in-laws Expedition and the brightness was intense. My eyes still hurt from trying to adjust them
