Eason's HID's vs Timmy's HID
Refer to the two pics below, the first one is Timmy's and the second is Eason's:

Why does Timmy's look purplish while Eason's look greenish?
Are both not Stage II HID's? If they are in fact identical, why do they appear so different?
Btw, the purple HID's look so wicked on that black Coupe!

I think the silver car has a blue HID...hope I'm not colour blind 
, I believe that you can get 3 different colour HID bulbs (white, blue and purple).

After looking carefully at the black coupe, i noticed the grill is blacked out but the logo is left unpainted. Am I correct on this or is the lighting too dark to see the chrome grill?

Thats not my car. The black car is Renncpe's. He has stage 2 HIDs. The silver car to th left has regular halogens I think

Hella Stage II HID's? Man, they're awesome. I wonder if Renncpe has the same ones as you since they're purple too.

they are 6000K. stage 2 or 6000K is what you will be looking for. I like the 5000K they dont have the yellow like the 4200K but they arent purple like the 6000K, just a nice blue/white color. But I do think the audi/bmw looks sweet with the projector lights with the 6000K bulbs

THis is the 2nd HID kit I've ever put in and this one was absolutely PERFECT. Every extra gizmo and gadget included - no assembly in the back by monkeys. (Sorry HId4less). This is a factory product by hella. ANyhow, this site sells all 3 'colors' for same price. No gouging for "stage 2" or whatever.

Most of you guys are telling me that 6000K is the purple hue, but the above info proves otherwise.

I got the 9000k. No other HIds are like it cuz its practically purple all the time. The beemers have a purple tint when seen from a certain angle but white on most angles. The Group buy purples are always purple so it seems a little illegal, but no problems so far.

Even if aimed properly wouldn't the 9000Ks be blinding to other drivers? How do they look when you are standing in front of your car?
I would like to get the 9000Ks as well but just worried if the cops are gonna make a fuss about it.

the degree K has nothing to do with brightness. As far as that goes the degrees between 4200K and 5000K have the most usable (visible) light to the human eye. A big thing for me is that I want it to look stock. ANY real HID kit will put out more light than a halogen, whether it be 4000K or 9000K. But I don't like the purple look, The nice blue/white look does it for me.

Jorel: you hit the nail on the head. Most any cop out there, if they pull you over for the lights all you gotta say is its a mercedes and it came stock. Hell Nissans have xenons now, i dont think its gonna be a problem, just keep your lights aimed properly
