Wheel help
Will these wheels and tires fit on this car (2002 C-230)
They are E430 wheels with the tire size 215/55-16
The tire size on the 2002 C-230 is 205/55-16
I believe this will fit, but can anyone verify this?
thanks

Actually, 16 is the wheel diameter, 7.5 is the wheel width.
The offset is where, axially, the hub mounts to the wheel. It is stamped on the back of the wheel and is usually identified by an et (like 35et).

112mm is the bolt circle diameter. The offset is stamped on the back side of the wheel.
My hunch is that it will not fit. With a 16x7.5 wheel the offset should be about 35mm (+/- 2mm). I think that the W210 wheels were in the mid-high 40's offset. If that is the case, the tire will rub in the wheel.

Yes, but the offset is of CRITICAL importance. This dimension is the measured between the center of the wheel (looking front to rear) and the surface that it mounts to the hub.
If this dimension is wrong, the wheel will either stick out too far and rub on the fender or stick in too far and rub on the suspension.
You really need to find out the offset before you buy. If it is outside of the 33-37mm range, they won't fit. PERIOD.
