Come down to Santa Clara then you'll see 2 non-C7 white coupes across the road from each other: one has pana-roof the other one does not. Plus yours then there will be 3 white coupes!

It's not just your city. In So Cal I would estimate that 50%+ of all the newer MB's I see are silver. And at least once a week I see a auto transport trailer coming from the port with MB's on it, and most of them are silver.

i owns a magma red with C7 6sp and i rarely sees the same on the road! most of them are non-C7 which are not as nice. Most i saw were Silver, then Black, White, Blue; Citron Green and Paripka still are rare finds. of cos magma red looks good and without bumping into another c coupe of the same color every day

I was born and raised in San Francisco, and the wife wanted a silver C230 coupe.
She was sold on it. But all she saw was silver coupes here in San Francisco. She/we decided on the wine-red color with C7,C5,C1... I forgot all of the C options.
We did see a wine-red (not paprika) C230 run up our block yesterday, so I think silver will not last long here for the coupes.
Silver is appropriate for a mercedes, but a C230 should not have a wannabe color like silver. It is a beautiful color, but not all of us are lemmings.

Funny, the color I see the most in SF is black, I've also seen two Citron's there as well (one used to live at the north end of Van Ness between Greenwich and Bay).
Personally, I picked silver because that's the color of the historic MB race cars (well, after 1934 anyway, when the cars ran with bare aluminum bodywork because they had to scrape off all of the white paint to get the W25 to meet a maximum weight limit).

C230 C-Coupe
Berkeley with a Magma Red, oyster Leather.
Two regrets are not getting the C7 and Electric seats.
The door handles and wheels are what appeal to me about the C7. I had a E320 loaner the other day and it came with the programmed seats and mirrors and is well worth $1000 over the life of the car.
