my new steering wheel...

ordered this wheel 8 weeks ago... but currently dont have a car to put it in...

https://mbworld.org/forums/c-class-w203/189432-13-253-14-fix-my-car.html

i ended up buying a 2001 c320 white.... exactly the same as my c240 but with the c320 upgrades.... take delivery on next friday...

ended up getting approx 21,000 cash for my car and purchased this one for 18500 with a 3 year/36k mile bumper to bumper warr.. (this price also included sales taxes.)

as far as settling with insurance... i ended up using my own company

my car was valued at 18,400 and MY insurance company would give me 100%of that minus my 250 deductible. the OTHER parties insurance would only give me 97% of the 18,400.

what i ended up doing is retaining ownership of my wrecked vehical then i turned around and sold it to the body shop.

the wrecked car as is... not fixed was valued by the insurance comp at 2,800. the insurance co subtracted this 2,800 from the 18,400 and wrote me a check for $15,600.

i then turned around and sold my car as is to the body shop for $5,500.

so for the dude that said im "slow"... i think i came out ahead....

paddle shift

Is it possible to get amg paddle shifters or new steering wheel which already has them to be retro fitted on a tiptronic w203?
Like what was done here: http://forum.e46fanatics.com/showthr...threadid=63211

Sure hope that you got your COMAND out that you just installed! Where did you find the 320? That is a pretty good price and you get a few nice upgrades from the 240.

Does the new interior match the new steering wheel?

i actually took delivery today... i purchased it from country hill motors... its on johnson drive. the car was a used car trade in at aristocrat. aristocrat sold it to them im assuming because it had high mileage (67k).... carfax actually showed it was initally owned by aristocrat for its first 4 years and 30k miles.

its first actual individual owner was an employee of Jay Wolfe MB (MB of KC)... he traded the car in a few weeks ago for something new.

prior to purchasing the car i had my service advisors at both aristocrat and MB of KC pull the service history on the car. They both said nothing major has been done to the car... all oil changes had been done regularly... the plugs and fuel filters had been changed..... etc.... car checked out to be pretty clean...

owe... and yeah, i was able to get my nav that i had just installed into the wrecked car...... insurance would only give me 650.00.. so i said id keep it...

the interior of my new car is the exact same as the old.... the dang steering wheel i ordered was the wrong color.... i have to send it back and they will send me the correct one... i think in 2003 or 2004 mb changed the color of the khaki/beige leather.... the made in lighter...
