I see a lot of project potential, especially with them now being turbocharged - have to get opinions from the MBWorld W203s though, right? It'll be another "daily driver", EVE's here to stay, kids .

Any thoughts? I'm liking that tectite grayish color.

i like mini's they're awsome to drive..one of the best balanced front wheel drives i've ever driven .hate the convertible though it just doesn't flow.. stick with a hatch back IMO

Daily driver for your sister?

I don't care how fast you can mod it and how fast it is, it's still a Mini.

Instead of getting the normal 325 or 328i loaners that I get when I take the M3 in, last time I got a Mini S as a loaner and beat the **** out of it to see what the fuss was about. It's a fun car, that handles pretty well, but the interior was *** (with cheap *** switches and a pretty poor layout), and I didn't feel all that safe in that tiny car (and I drive a convertible for god sake).

Oh, I wouldn't get the mini in a vert - and if anything I'll be pushing the car to its limits regardless. Haha, yeah my sis would love it, wouldn't she?

Its got its own kind of appeal, I suppose. I'm fascinated by the turbo and what I'll be able to do with that alone. If I got it, you know I won't leave it alone..and if the interior is what you say it is, I'll get my hands on it too.

Hm..

well, you'll be doing a LOT of work on the interior. it's horrible, I felt like I was in a Civic. the switches looked like they came straight from Radio Shack.

I know a bunch of girls that own regular Mini's and think they drive BMW's. "Oh but it's made by BMW and uses the same parts..." It's not a BMW, not close, just want to them.

not too sure, it may have been (it was back in January and the car only had like 3000 miles on it) but it very well may have been an 06.

Mini = Chick car!

I don't care how fast that thing can be made. When I see a dude driving that car, I have the same impressions/thoughts as when I see a dude driving a Beetle, Rabbit or Jetta.

It may be judgmental, but hey, just stating the truth.

Totally understandable - guess that's why I'm keeping EVE first. I guess I'm looking at it for its market POV and tuning potential. Hell, folding mirrors as an option too.

I want to trade the audi in for another stickshift and seriously, if my sis transitions into it, it'll be perfect.

Minis are just too small. I'm only 5'9", but no way I could live with that car. Realize my other cars are X1/9s. But there is more room in an X.

I know they handle, but I just couldn't do it.

Haha yeah you're right about the SMART. I could say I'm looking at the new 3s too...but it feels awkward saying it to myself, haha.

Whatever the next vehicle will be, it'll probably something my brother and I will "invest" into..whatever that means.
