*pics* Alcohol Injection Install, Supercharger Pulley, exhaust.
Outland, I know me and you discussed alcohol injection before... But I had a new idea for people with the M271 and the pulley kits... If you install a methanol injection kit, you can play with the water/methanol ratio and they can actually use it to help them with their lean issues. I forget exactly how to do it, but when I was making the "juice" for the methanol for the cobra it says what creates a lean mixture and what creates a richer mixture. What do you think...
I didn't know that the M271 had a lean problem. The M111 has a minor one at WOT. I don't know of anyone actually encountering detonation though. A standard alcohol water kit would help with the temps, certainly.
i'll keep ya'll informed.

What year car. If it is the 2002, let me assure you, it is easy.
Loosen and pull back the intake filter.
Undo the hex bolts that mounted the resonator to the upper S/C manifold.
Unplug the wire harness to the actuator valve (it is by the intake filter)
Unscrew the actuator coupling.
Take off the two hoses. One at the valve cover to resonator, and one at the rear from the cranckase breather/return to the backside of the resonator.
Pull up
This is all from memory, but you can have that black piece off in about 20 minutes if you stop to drink while you do it.

i have a 2004 coupe will it be the same procedure??

Create a profile for yourself so we know what kind of a car you have, what year etc., and then someone with the M271 engine can help you out.
I have the M111 engine, and its different.

Also, what happens if i take out the intake resonator? Is this the same as an exhaust resonator
(Srry for the noobish questions..)
