Did it look kinda like this?

I'm guessing that you were talking about mine. As Bob said, I just painted it; it's held on at three points, so just put small pieces of heavy paper behind it. It hasn't held up well, though. I need to redo it at some point.

You can remove it but I think there will be three holes there.

the trunk emblem is mounted by 3 pins. There will be 3 holes if you remove the the emblem.

Painting Trunk Badges Body Color?

I've seen some black cars with the chrome badges painted black, and in the classifieds theres a blue coupe with the same thing. I already have my car debadged, so it'd be a little easier to paint, I guess. But, my main questions are:
1. Can you paint chrome badges silver? And will it look nice?
2. Should I do it myself with touch-up paint? Or have a body shop do it?

I would probably just do badgeless...less work, less time. Clean. If you were to do that mod, have the body shop overspray them, lol.

Leave it the way that you have it. I think the painted badges look goofy!

i was thinkin about paint my badges and all my chrome black i think it would look phat but i might just debadge just b/c its less work but i think if you were to spray all the chrome on your car black and even the badges black it would look phat too lowered on a set of dark wheels with a nice lip

That is a very unique idea, it just has to fit what the person wants...that would look sick though..

ay kev, I painted my badges 040 black! if you want to paint your badges, all you need is to buff out the chrome with a fine grain sand paper, atleast a 220+ i used a 400 grit. then prime coat it, with grey primer, then body paint. but again, it'd look tacky on a silver car tho IMO, it looks best, black painted badges on a black car
