Yes, that's why I bought Lexus, I narrow it down to ML or RX.

Congrats on your marriage and soon to be joy of your life.

What did you do with your previous exhaust tips? I may be looking into doing the quad thing myself.

Thanks

Henry

so they only come on when the lights are on?

any idea how people wire them to light up when the car is on? a friend said to wire it to the battery, but i thought that would be on all the time even when car is off...

Yeah, only on when lights are on, too bad I can't disable/enable DRL like newer cars. I am planning putting it on Lexus as well.

If you want to install it, how about wire it to your radio, so it'll pretty much be on all the time(assuming you have your radio on most of the time). If you want to wire to battery, maybe just put an extra switch, so you can turn on/off as you want.

Which you like better, older ones used to be silver as well, but too hard to keep it clean, hence painted black

Don't wire up to the battery or it will stay on 24/7. If you want them on when ever the car is running, then connect to a 12V+ when the ignition is on. Use a multimeter or test light at the fuse box to locate the appropriate wire. Don't worry about the current draw on the lights because LEDs take very little current.

Assuming you talking about the cutout for exhaust tip.
If that's what you asking, then yes to the current setup and no to the old setup.

I like the black ones more. I think they would only look good on a black car though, it would be awkward on any other color car IMO

I drive a Toyota Hybrid...

lol lol my parents also picked up a RX450h 2 years ago, love that car, a lot less headache compare to european cars, the downside about RX is FWD and really bad traction

then on 2012 i crashed my DD Honda Accord and sold my coupe to a forum kid and picked up a CPO 2007 GS450h

Toyota ftw!!
