got the unit for about 440 including ipod cable and paid around 140 for parts and installation.

if you refer to that blue thing, I use to run the gps charger around that.

takes about 40 seconds to boot up(i am kinda guessing, but if you want I can go time it), music will come on first and then the navi will be on, then the phone will be connected..
it's not the best, but for the price, I have nothing to complain about.
if it's f90bt, then i wouldn't get it.

Looking nice!
The boot time is longer on all HU with a hard drive but it's not too bad.
Pioneer FTW. Hope you enjoy it. The use of the menu is easier than the factory nav IMO.

Have a fun drive!

yeuchau - Good time to buy property - much better investment than car !!!

How is your car now? Has it given any more problem since last time?

Hi Glyn, nope, it's being doing great recently.
Only happened that once, I even took the car to vegas couple weeks ago which is about ~600 miles and no problem at all.
thanks for following up.

not sure if it's just me, but the FM reception does seem to be good at all. Gets cutoff or extra noise pretty frequently.

Where did you get the double-din opening for your stereo? I also had one installed but the bezel that goes around the radio didn't fit properly, so it somewhat sticks out. Yours looks a little thinner than mine, which may be the answer.

Hi All,

My warranty is about to expire in 1 months, and I have about 78k miles on the car now.
Is there any thing I should have it checked before it expires, I am have the visual vehicle inspection done now, but i don't know if that's enough.

Any recommendations?

Have them check the front castor arm (thrust arm/torque arm) bushes for cracks & silicone fluid leaks. Look for oil leaks such as weeping from the diff pinion seal, gearbox seals & TCU connector. Also check crankcase ventilation covers for leaks on the rocker boxes of the engine. Most other things you would know from driving the car. I presume everything works. No funny noises squeaks or knocks.

what is a castor arm??

I just go the car back from dealer, they said front control arms needs to be replaced and it's covered under warranty.

they did not mention anything else other than that.

Powertrain coverage: includes Engine block and cylinder heads and all internally lubricated parts, transmission/transzlecase and all internally lubricated parts, and differential/axle housing and all internally lubricated parts.
Silver coverage: Inlcudes powertrain plus steering gear hosuing and all internal parts, brakes, air conditonning(condensor, compressor, evaporator..etc), front suspension and some electrical parts
Gold voerage: includes powertrain, silver coverage plus additional coverages on all catergories mentioned above.

do you guys think it's worth it to get the warranty??
