yea i had to use a 5mm spacer h&r hub centric for the front
i went low i guess.. as you can see in one of the pictures i had a
tape measure. the gap between the tire and the fender is 1 inch FOR the front... and the rear i can hardly squeeze my finger in-between the fender and the tire (lol) but theres no RUBBING

i think the Bilstein Coilover are suppose to be installed like that with the Spring perch at the bottom..check installation instruction just to make sure.

white and whiter
was looking at smgc32's pic when he sold the Carlsson pss9 RS.
you can see in the pic the bilstein perch only has the threaded part and a metal stop, but it does not have the metal block like other coilovers such as the tein, h&r, or kws which lets you put the perch on top of the spring and replaces the rubber pads.

I just got off the phone with Darren from CarLab and he started laughing when i told him about the perch being ONTOP of the spring. he asked me were did i get that idea from ..he told me the way i have it is the way it should be with the pss9 THE PERCH ON THE BOTTOM
SO (a) my shop told me the perch should be on the bottom , because thats how they install the bilstein on some other cars
(b) i called up Bilstein and told me the same thing . that theres no way that the perch can be on top of the spring
and (c) i called up CarLab and like i said, he was laughing. lol
SO NOW WE KNOW THAT THE PERCH FOR THE PSS9 SHOULD BE ON THE BOTTOM OF THE SPRING.

Tight!
Wow. Very Nice. Who did the smoking on the tailights? I likey. The black on black theme works. What's on the lower left front fender? I can't make it out.
How do you think smoked lights would look on Silver?
